Competitions
From time to time we may run competitions for schools/ children which they can enter to win a variety of prizes. All entrees must abide by the rules below to be eligible for the competition.
All submissions should be submitted by an adult such as a teacher or parent/guardian.
Please only submit the child’s first name, age and school in the submission.
By entering the competition you consent to 24AStar potentially sharing your child’s images and design/ designs across our social media channels. Please ensure submissions are only from children who are permitted by their parents/carers to be shown on our website/array of social media platforms.
24AStar does not claim ownership of any submissions to any competition or any other service, However by submitting your submission you are allowing 24AStar to copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, edit, translate, and reformat your Submission; and to publish your name in connection with your Submission.

24AStar follows the following procedures to ensure all personal data is stored safely.
All submissions are to be sent via our Google Forms link which can be accessed on our website.
Once you have logged in/ signed up for a Google account, you are agreeing to Googles own Terms and conditions and Privacy policy.
When you submit an entry to our Google Forms link, the personal data will not be shared with any third parties without consent, except where necessary for competition administration (e.g., prize fulfilment).
All submissions are to be stored in a locked file on a locked computer.
If your school/ a specific child wanted to withdraw from the competition they can do at anytime by getting a trusted adult to contact us at alexsummerscales.24astar@gmail.com.
We will retain any information you choose to share with us until one of the following situations arises: (a) you ask for its deletion, (b) we opt to discontinue our current data providers, or (c) the Company concludes that the advantages of keeping the data no longer justify the related costs.
The sole purpose of collecting data is to manage and administer the competition, including selecting and contacting winners.
Newspaper
At 24AStar we create our newspaper called “Starry Times Newspaper” to connect and showcase children's creations. We use the first party platform Google Forms to collect your submissions you would like to contribute for the newspaper.
All submissions should be submitted by an adult such as a teacher or parent/guardian.
Please enter the child’s first name and age (It can be an alias name).
By submitting content for the Starry Times newspaper you consent to 24AStar potentially sharing your child’s images and design/ designs in our newspaper and across our social media channels. Submissions: We use Google forms to receive uploads and submissions. We do not take responsibility for how Google uses your data so please view and agree with the Google forms Privacy policy before you use their service.
